The 12th International Congress on Materials  was held  at the University of Medellín on September 25, 26 and 27. The 7th International Meeting for Researchers in Materials and Plasma Technology (7th IMRMPT)  was held on June 7, 8 and 9   in Cartagena. The Bariloche Atomic Center (CAB) is a nuclear energy research and development center that is part of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) in Argentina, and where the 107th Meeting of the Physics Association was held from September 27 to 30. The XXIX National Congress of Physics was held in the city of Armenia, Universidad del Quindío, on September 21, 22, and 23, 2022. UTP Physics Engineering student on internship at Canadian Research Institute

Sebastián García García, a student in the UTP Physics Engineering program, is developing his degree work in the Computational Modeling and Simulation Research Group. In August 2021, Sebastián applied to the MITACS Globalink Internship program. MITACS is an institution that connects talent in different countries to carry out research projects with universities, companies or research centers in Canada.
